CrispNote ("the app") is a notes app provided by independent developer Craftopia ("the developer"). This policy explains what information the app handles.
The app has no server operated by the developer. The content of notes and checklists you create is stored only in a database on your device. Even when cloud sync is enabled, your data never passes through the developer — it is stored directly in your own Google Drive or OneDrive account. The developer has no access whatsoever to the content of your notes or to the cloud account you sync with.
| Information | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Note/checklist content, color tags, pinned status, etc. | Stored only in the on-device database (not accessible to the developer) |
| Attached images and files | Stored only on-device, and (if sync is enabled) in your own cloud account |
| Google Drive / Microsoft account sign-in credentials (tokens) | Stored securely on-device, used only for cloud sync. Never sent to the developer's servers |
| PIN and biometric authentication data | Stored only on-device for the app lock feature. Never sent to the developer |
The app displays no ads and includes no third-party analytics tools that track usage.
When cloud sync is enabled, the app only accesses Google Drive/OneDrive within the following scopes. Both are limited to files and folders the app itself created, and never grant access to any of your other files.
drive.file scope (files created by the app only)Files.ReadWrite.AppFolder scope (the app's dedicated folder only)Use of these services is also subject to Google's and Microsoft's own privacy policies. (Google Privacy Policy, Microsoft Privacy Statement)
You can delete your data at any time by deleting notes/checklists within the app. Uninstalling the app removes the on-device data. If you were using cloud sync, you can delete the files in the app's dedicated folder on Google Drive/OneDrive yourself, through those services directly.
